Side return extension in Streatham
In Streatham we extended the living space of this Victorian terraced house with a side return extension. We extended the kitchen and dining space to the neighbouring party wall and built a pitched roof that allowed the installation of roof lights. These roof lights flood the space with natural light. We created a large open plan kitchen, dining and seating space for our clients. The installation of a neutral tone kitchen makes the space feel large and open. There is a lovely flow from the front of the house to the back with this extension. We separated the existing living room from the rest of the house with wooden French doors. We extended the kitchen units to the end of the extension and put a window over the worktop.
