Rear extension in Brixton

Our client here wanted to open up the rear of their property to add a spacious and modern kitchen diner that joined seamlessly with a patio space outside. The intention was to really make the kitchen the focal point of their home particularly for entertaining. One of the key criteria set in the design phase was to flood this traditional Victorian house with light and to create a different open space to the more cosy and traditional rest of the ground floor.
