Dormer Loft Conversion - Wandsworth

The Creative Spaces team executed the design and build of this gorgeous dormer loft conversion for our clients in Wandsworth, this was the second project we had done for this client. Having previously extending their ground floor with a rear and side return extension. Similar to the kitchen extension, the idea behind the loft conversion to have add another bedroom and bathroom and to maximise the potential in this house.

We converted the space with a large dormer loft which gave our clients a large bedroom with ensuite and created plenty of storage space with eaves storage, solving the issue of adding extra space and storage in the house. The new bedroom does not only have ample space but is also airy and well-lit for relaxing as it features two Velux windows on one side and one dormer window on the other. This facilitates efficient ventilation and overall good use of the bedroom for various daily task.

This loft conversion allowed our clients to have a private and separate bedroom space for guests away from the rest of the house, especially in a house with kids. Alongside this we refurbished the first floor creating a dedicated nursery and master ensuite bedroom, with a spacious family bathroom. The master bedroom features a walk-in closet which has various storage options for a complete wardrobe organisation.

This loft conversion and refurbishment works to add nursery and modification of the master bedroom took 8 weeks to complete, at the cost of £125k. This is now a large and spacious four bed house and we have added at least 25% to the value of this home.
