Rear Extension - Islington

Our client aimed to add a bedroom and increase the living space in their ground floor flat in Islington. The approached Creative Spaces with the idea of adding new rear Extension and creating a new layout for a two-bedroom flat.

This ground floor flat in Islington has the most functional layout that allows a large space to be transformed from a small one bed flat to a large and spaces two bed flat with a beautiful outside space. The idea behind this amazing transformation was to increase the size of the property in order to add value.

Creative Spaces teamed with an external design team and together we analysed the site and developed a new design that caters to the client’s vision and requirements of the property to become an ideal home.

Our Project Management team took over once the designs were finalised. The team managed all the phases of the processes of adding an extension and refurbishment within the deadline. With minimal hindrance, the newly refurbished house was ready with a new layout that comprises an open-plan kitchen sharing the space with living room, spacious bedroom with the best storage solution and a shower room. Here, the flat was transformed into a two-bedroom apartment with a walk-in wardrobe and a big shower room. The living room is divided into a diner, lounge area and an open-plan kitchen. The extension increased the floor area, that resulted in a capacious apartment as per our client’s desire. The new extension has glass French doors installed that open to the rear garden and allows an indoor-outdoor connection.
