Rear and Side Extension - Wandsworth

Creative Spaces team worked in Wandsworth, on another property on the same road for the fifth time in a row for a kitchen extension to add space to the family’s kitchen.

The existing kitchen was divided into a separate kitchen and dining room, that lead to the beautiful rear garden. However, this layout worked well for all these years and now, our client’s wanted a change due to the need for more space and functionality in the house. This beautiful Victorian house needed revamping of its compact kitchen, and we had the perfect solution; by introducing a rear and side return extension that not only increases the space available, allows direct access to a beautiful patio but also improves the value of the property.

The new layout is designed in a way that the entire ground floor opens, and it is easy to navigate from the moment one enters in the house. With new utility room, and adding ample storage by including built-in closets, and kitchen island with additional wine racks maximized the kitchen’s functionality, fulfilling the need of storage and workspace in the new kitchen. The rear and side extension gave the opportunity to add roof lights and fully glazed roof to the kitchen that made the kitchen completely illuminated by the influx of natural light. The glass French doors add to the influx of light while also extending the kitchen to the rear garden whenever desired. This opened the dining area to the outside area with ease and elegance. The design of this extension and a natural tactile feel of the materials used provide a beautifully proportioned social and relaxing space for the whole family to enjoy.

This extension costs estimated to £ 177k and took 15 weeks to complete and deliver this vibrant and aesthetic kitchen with best storage.
