Luxurious Loft Conversion - Walthamstow
This beautiful home upgrade was achieved with an L-shaped dormer loft conversion addition to the house. The aim was to maximise the light and privacy and we achieved this through the use of large Velux windows in the bedroom and large roof lights in the hall and bathroom.
The idea was simple, to convert the large loft space in this Victorian house to utilize it to its utmost potential. Our client wanted to refurbish the first floor along with the loft bedroom to fit the modern day living and aesthetics. Creative Spaces understood their vision from the first meeting and with our design team we begin the transformation of this home. Once the project management team took over after successfully completing the formalities, the on-site process started immediately.
The space up from the first floor to the new loft conversion was quite large, allowing us to install a spacious new staircase from the first floor to the loft. The stairs take us to the loft which is now transformed into spacious loft bedroom and luxurious bath, and an additional study space completing the vision. With this L-shaped dormer we were able to add two bedrooms and a large bathroom to this house.
The loft is structured in L-shape that allowed maximum functionality. With the large loft space, the bedroom has ample of storage available with Eaves storage running across the entire wall. The bedroom is traditionally well-lit by huge Velux windows installed right above the Eaves storage. This allows the influx of natural light to every corner of the bedroom. This also facilitates ventilation, which is one of the essential upgrades in the loft. Moving to the shower room on left, the entire space is straight out of a luxury baths catalogue, equipped with all the necessities like a bathtub, vanity and ample storage, huge window, heated towel rail and a massive skylight completing the luxurious feel for the residents. This complete look not only matches the modern-day living needs for a family but also matches the iconic aesthetic making the bath star of the project.
Next, in the loft transformation is the study space accommodating the requirements with a build-in shelving unit, Eaves storage as one half and windows in the other half of the wall. This met the requirement for storage and natural light equally.
The loft conversion project took 8 weeks to finish with the estimated cost at £84k.
...this is what our client had to say:
"We used Creative Spaces for our loft conversion and found them to be competitive on price along with having a very high standard of work. Any questions we had were never made to feel stupid - they are great communicators. The costs are broken down clearly so there is no confusion later and the job was finished in good time. Luke, Kris and team are trustworthy and have since come back to the property to fix a couple of small issues that we noticed. Very happy with the final result."
