Loft Conversion and Refurbishment - Leytonstone
Working with an external architect here, we added an L-shaped dormer loft conversion to this client’s home. The vision was to create a large open master bedroom with large ensuite that was a wet room and included a large walk-in shower and separate free-standing bath. The idea was to create a spa-like experience.
We built the dormer loft conversion with large windows to the front and Velux windows to the back of the property. We then split the room in two with the ensuite to the rear of the property with the velux windows providing lots of natural light. To enhance the feeling of space, we added large double doors to the bathroom which again, adds to the feeling of space and also allows natural light from both the Velux windows in the bathroom and the large dormer windows to the front illuminate the whole space. The rest of the space was dedicated to a large and spacious master suite. Above the landing in the new loft conversion, we incorporated a large roof flight that floods the stairwell with natural light.
We incorporated eaves storage and a walk in closet. After executing the new plan for the bath and storage, the room was lit up by all the new windows and was spacious enough to walk around.
This loft conversion and refurbishment took us 8 weeks to complete and deliver the project with the entire budget of £118k.
...this is what our client had to say:
"We used Creative Spaces for the renovation, loft and kitchen extension of our 3-story Victorian semi-detached in 2021-22. Luke gave us a lot of confidence during our initial meetings and then the planning and quoting process for what was an involved project, including his team taking on the production of the construction drawings. Despite the complexity, the project pace was kept up and was completed in 9 months to a very high standard."
