Dormer Loft Conversion - Nunhead
This loft conversion is a great example of how to maximise functionality in your house. Our client aimed to simply utilise their large loft to add a new ensuite with storage to fulfil the family’s needs.
Creative Spaces understood their vision immediately and started working on the new design. We had to go through the planning process for this project. The Creative Spaces designs for this project were approved by Southwark Council and we began with the process of adding a dormer loft conversion.
This large loft space had the potential to fulfil exactly what our client wanted, and we were ready to deliver that. The layout design was key to help our client to achieve an airy and well-lit bedroom with great headroom provided by the dormer addition. With the huge windows taking over the wall on one side, the room is exceptionally well lit with the day light contributing to the bright aspect of the space. The garden view from the bedroom is another added bonus. On the other side of the room is the series of build-in closets in L-shape that allow maximum storage for all kinds of accessories.
To achieve the goal, a spacious and fully ventilated shower room is added as an en-suite. The ensuite shower room is well-equipped with a big window, a huge shower closet, vanity and towel heating rail, making this dormer loft transformation a win!
It took us 8 weeks to finish, and we delivered a refurbished first floor with a new dormer loft ensuite bedroom making the house more functional. The estimated cost is £97k.
